I started IT thinking it was genuinely telling people to turn their computers off and on again. I feel that's like a 1% though. Most of the times it's actual issues. At my work some stuff is hardware, web, databases and I wasn't expecting this when I first started.
I've been avoiding starbucks for year. Garbage company. But I do have a gift card I think so I might be forced to use it, or give it away since if I don't then they just get a free donation to their company.
I would be interested in NHL stuff but I don't even consume that much NHL content. If somebody actively posts in NHL and other hockey related sub lemmy communities then I'll join and try to engage as much as I can.
Yeah I had your idea back when I wanted a nas. I didn't have the time and just bought a synology knowing it wasn't the best option and was aware of the possibility of enshitification. Now that they've enshitified, I can't really recommend them any longer. So far it's been good but I'm still looking for options that are quick and easy to set up. Or maybe I'll grit my teeth and start building one from scratch.
I hope spotdl still lives on, I'll probably start downloading before it's all gone
