  • Whats funny.. if youre living in poverty youre probably better off in brazil. Atleast they have healthcare as a right.

The only reason the us isnt like brazil today was because the new dealers in the 30's-50's actually had the great idea of investing in the common people and had hundreds of billions of dollars poured into communities and all the shanty towns were torn down and affordable housing was built in their place. But since the progressives lost power, the us is quickly tipping away from wealth equality, and shantytowns are making their way back. We're a single depression from having millions living in favela's.

  • The thing that bothers me is the revenue doesnt go to creators that I watch. Its all pooled and divided out by view count across the entire platform. Which is bs. I dont want my money going to the top channels that i have zero interest in. A better system is dividing it out to the channels I view.

Thus why adblocking and patreon is highly popular...

  • Their incentive is.... making art is fun and a passion. Holding copyrignt allows artists to earn a living while freely pursuing their passion. Artists already struggle to get paid well for their work... and you want to strip away their rights to their work? Do you also pay your artists in impressions?
