Meh.. I'm not the best woodworker but I'm not terrible. I'd hope by that time I can at least leave them a decent handcrafted stained table or chair or something. No giant frescoes but nice routered edges on solid wood with a good burn+stain and a thick layer of lacquer.

Within the context it's presented I 100% agree with this. The airline case the AI was basically replacing a human agent/representative, so they were liable in the same way as if a human had provided the misinformation.

In this case, it's presenting details as fact as if they'd come from legit news sources etc. They should face the same penalty as a news agency would be libel.

Now if it's just an AI NPC in a game going a bit off the rails, that's just entertainment. So long as nobody gets to pull the "we're not really news, just entertainment" bullshit.

I'll add to this: it was also from an age where necessities were fairly readily available at basic income levels (in most cities) and through a lifetime you could get ahead and upgrade your house along the way while supporting a family on a single person's income.

Now you can have two people making a decent income and still have issues affording rent/mortgage. Necessities have gone up significantly while stuff like TVs have become cheaper but also shorter-lived.

Boneless doesn't mean "less" bones. The dictionary and commonly understood meaning is "without bones", and certainly without amounts of bone sufficient to cause significant injury when eating . It's certainly not a "cooking style" as uncooked chicken cuts with bones removed are sold as boneless.
