If they don't emulate that part, they either can't read games, or they need to require games to be decrypted when dumped, and everyone needs a new set of ROMs

I disagree on the last point, sure, the supply won't go up, but the demand is likely to go down. Prices have ballooned hard in the past several years. The bubble has to burst at some point

Exactly the sort you mentioned. The game was not designed for a standard controller, so tinkering with the controls is required

I think Super Mario Galaxy needs tinkering even if there are no issues running it because of how heavily it uses the pointer

Nope. I grew up gaming and can't stand dark modes

Dark themes aren't easy on the eyes. It's preferred when you're looking at a screen in a dark room, but you shouldn't be doing that anyway. When I have to look at a dark theme, I find myself squinting and straining my eyes. Light themes just look better too. Better to save your battery by lowering the brightness of your screen.
