Not the poster above, but just wondering here. I don't use Adobe products. I can see a VM not being the best. How about Wine? Can you just install Photoshop via vutris and go?
I would disagree. There are distros out there that make it so easy. Especially with flatpak. I think it's not 100% user friendly, but neither is windows. If you can't use Mint Cinnamon, you probably can't use windows well either. That means you're just using the web, email, and office for the most part anyway. With package manager gui interfaces, it's easier to find things with Linux than windows. I think I could show my grandma Linux more easily than windows nowadays. A normal user will get around without ever having to think about PPAs or anything like that.
Understood. Yea I know tons of people that consider themselves anti fascist and never met anyone like this, so I'd say definitely not the same lol. Generally antifa is against any authoritarianism from my experience.
Do you have a link? Are any of these people westerners? I don't think I've actually seen this. I am starting to think I'm not really sure what a tankie is.
While I would agree that it is political, it's because it is a movement and has become political. The organization was created after the movement and does not necessarily reflect the will or intentions of the actual movement. It's like if back in the day there was an org called Women's Suffrage. It doesn't mean the focus of all people who want women's suffrage are part of an organization named that after the movement started.
Like the other person said, you are confusing the dealership and the manufacturer. This is the equivalent of those people that yelled at the teenagers working at chik filet. The dealership will just say they don't create those rules and you'd have to take it up with the manufacturer, then ask you to leave. If you don't leave and act like a jerk, they'll just call the cops and have you escorted off premises.
I don't disagree with you generally, but any open source software can contain malware if no one is actually looking at the source code.
