  • The folding is what makes them good. iirc

  • I can only do one

  • Thanks. I did read that from the boot drive it would be slower, and missing some features. Im looking to go slow so thats fine by.

You kept windows on another drive, like a hard drive in the comp? Or a thumb drive?

Glad to hear the transition was smooth. That seems to be the general opinon. Its just sometimes reading conversations between people who have been on linux awhile, or maybe work in IT or programming, I get a little nervous. Kernals and directories and other things that I know are words but have no idea what the mean in the computer world.

  • Yea im about to switch myself. Been looking at suggestions and stuff, probably gonna start with Mint myself.

Many different sources advise putting it on a flashdrive first and loading from there, to start. Make sure I like it.

But the end goal, eventually, would be to remove windows from the comp entirely, right? Eventually installing my chosen distro as the OS on the computer itself? Does that sound about right?

  • Long penis go burrrrr

  • Still not sure where you are finding an extra 8 hours every day.

  • Its a neat idea. A lot of their workers are kids or youngings living with folks anyway. Gives a option for workers with fewer options. Depending how its played gives people not working there affordable options maybe?

  • Hey treat your stuff however you want. But generally tools are meant to wear out from their intended use. Ususlly, the better you treat your tools the more use you get out of them.

  • Most humor is funnier than a laugh track sitcom. But humor being regional is ... an interesting phenomenon if nothing else. Like yea I enjoyed the hell out of Monty Python as a kid and even now. But ill take the office from Scranton ober the og any day of the week. But I also wouldnt expect peeps from across the pond to feel that way.

Is their anything from that late 90s era early 00s British tv had to compare the chapelle show? Honestly curious, I only have so much knowledge of British humor.

  • A older person has heard of DnD because of a sitcom and laughed when they meet someone who plays? And thats why youll never watch the show? I finally gave dnd a chance after freaks and geeks. Which for me was after almost two decades of playing magic.

Dont get me wrong, ive seen a few episodes of big bang and yea nothing you need to watch. But seems an odd reason to write it off if you like sitcoms ... which the more I think about it a lot of sitcoms were nerd comedy. Best dam line out of friedns was alwazy "Ill prove it like a therom!!" And Frazier... And while never as cool as Homer, Lisa was always miles above Bart...

Sorry most of that was not actually in response to your comment. Hope the campaign is going/went well!

  • At first I thought mewtoo, but now im thinking pink panther? Either way dam.

  • If they were of similar age and economic background, then yea it should not be a problem. And there are also plenty of people outside of that age range and background that would still want you. Thought probably not many who would if that was your opener.

Again, trying to uplift my fellow person, not sure how to say this without sounding like a sjw or something. But if you are 30, then "girls" needs to dropped. Women.

  • Do I dream on the trip? Do I remember any of the dreams? Thatd be pretty cool.

  • I have been meaning to order a steamer for long time. I iron so infrequently.

  • Some of our fan bases suck, some don't. My cities football stadium will join together to sing the Eagles fight song. They even did it at the superbowel. Chief fans wasnt shit.

  • Well then I feel a little silly. But yea my point stands.

  • This kinda makes Lord Vetinari a little less cool tho...

    Still pretty fun fact.

  • We also do still build some pretty wonderous things. Just saw a picture the other day in, iirc, China. A high rise or skyscraper, that looked as tho it had been unzipped from the top through about half way down.

  • Started No Mans sky a few weeks ago. I am liking it a lot. Very pretty game, lots of neat stuff. My umderstanding is that while its a very wide game, its somewhat shallow. What I have seen so far does not disprove that, but I have been progressing very slowly so I cant say one way or another.
