  • No, they won't. But then the men affected will complain to other single men, and those of us that agree with 4B can say "yeah, it sucks, but how many guys have you stood up to and said 'knock it off'".

I guarantee the number is small.

  • It's a darn shame they know where they are grouping up. Would be even worse if Ukraine had weapons to strike that far into Russia without Russia being able to do jack shit about it.

At Ukraine's last kill count at 1500/day, if this was the only force they were fighting it would take 33 days to grind.

But if that level of human sacrifice is required by NK and Russia so be it I guess.

  • That almost sounds like you are blaming LBJ. Nixon was the one who caused the 1970 economic disaster that led to everything after. He ended the gold Standard and gave unfettered power to banks. Inflation was the goal as inflation directly benefitted real estate. The owner class became obscenely rich quickly, and it never stopped.

  • Which Is so strange to me. If Trump gets his way with the dictatorships, if that threatened him that much, he could wipe Russia off the map. We already publicly know they have a paper army, and we know Russia never had nearly the number of nukes they claimed, how could anyone who becomes a dictator with the US military be afraid of anything but people close enough to him to kill him?

  • While Project 2025 suggested the use of the military as law enforcement in Democratic cities - in reality this can only work in Red States. The federation style of government gives power to the state in the form of the National Guard.

I believe there is some sort of power that enables Governors to draw up reserves too, and any federal military stationed in the State.

Sort of like the Fediverse - the instance admin ultimately decides what can and cannot be fed into their instance, and enforce their own moderation rules within it.

  • For those unfamiliar with Minnesotan language, that's what this vow is.

He will fight Project 2025 as state governor, which does give him powers the president can't just take. "While working to understand the appeal" means he acknowledges that Magats are idiots and will also work on a way to get through their thick skulls to also reject the Presidents agenda.

    Minnesota nice is fun :)

Edit: another interpretation would be he said to Trump supporters: "Y'all need Jesus."

  • That's the major saving grace of it.

Something like NOAA really requires a lot of experts to run, and get value from. If they replace it with loyalists, privatize it, or just stop funding it all together it's entire benefit will end.

I can list a ton of impacts to NOAA benefits ending: National Weather Service likely gets privatized

    1. only premium users get the 24/7 continuous weather updates from NWR broadcasts (radio weather updates).

3.NWWS (basically used for severe weather monitoring) now has fees or is gone.

    1. EWIN means no more emergency weather coordination.
    2. Weather.gov is shut down or prioritized.

That means immediately we have disasters in all farming communities from lower crop yields. The tornado belt will get deadlier. You can just forget about living in Florida. It will be very expensive to fly because airlines no longer receive that data. More destructive forest fires. Incoming and outgoing sea shipping will become much more expensive and dangerous (more expensive imports, exports, seafood, off shore oil).

Not to mention space weather is in the realm of NOAA. Satellite and radio comms will be difficult to account for. Geomagnetic storms will cause infrastructure damage when operators of pipelines and power grids can't prepare for the induced surges.

That's just a tiny list. I like sort collectively acknowledge - Maga is a cult of Death. It doesnt matter who or why, they just want to cull the human population.

What's sort of funny to me is the conspiracy about our leaders being lizard people makes more since if the Project 2025 people are actually aliens going about in a systemic way to remove us from the planet for themselves. A la "They Live" style.

  • Eventually I will be divorced but I can't exactly cash out my half of the equity in the home without making her homeless. If she's still my property anyone I'll take $80k, no warranty, sales final. Comes with free baggage and would make a great drill instructor. Low mileage, but unreliable and untrustworthy. Pretty to look at though.

  • We're all simply traitors for being on this site.

We're traitors for having Signal installed.

We're traitors for voting against him.

We're traitors for deleting twitter, and Facebook.

We're traitors for being a registered Democrat.

We're traitors for supporting the rights of LGBTQ and minoties.

    We're traitors because we dissent.

If the above is what constitutes a traitor, I'd rather die a traitor than participate in any support of the harm they will do.

I'd rather not die of course.

  • It's not a hard problem to solve. It's not hard to see the reasoning behind a desire for self driving cars. Anyone who lives outside of a big city in the US knows this.

Roads are already present. Traffic control is already present.

Tie the goddamn roads to the goddamn traffic control and have it coordinate the cars. The cars input their destination, and have radar to stop the car to prevent accidental collision.

The problem is people don't like that they can't get to their destination faster, they don't have the freedom of choosing their exact route, and they can't just rev their engine whenever they want.

It's not mass transit, but it solves the final distance problem.
