  • Not always though. Sometimes it's just a guy protecting someone and they murder them. I seriously think about that guy going to work that day and how his family felt about how they died. They're not necessarily protecting good people, but it's just a job.

  • I think they're mostly creating the world their owners want. I've seen articles buried, where you have to have the exact headline to access it.

To go along with what you're saying, the headline people are usually the biggest problem.

  • Honest question, will they ever have an epiphany? Florida having no warnings for hurricanes seems like it's going to be an issue that affects them.

  • This is the way. I make a great sweet and sour sauce with frozen cranberries, sugar, a little butter and water. Making stuff at home is so much better tasting, you don't over eat it and it's cheaper.

  • Today or this week?

  • What a great catch on that particular video. I'm pretty sure I hadn't seen that one. I'm checking out the bible geek now, thanks.

On your edits: Absolutely, I strongly suggest staying away from Jehovah's Witness conversations.

  • It depends on where you are. Seattle summers are amazing (shhhh, don't tell anyone).

  • do not envision a similar fate for him.

Just like Musk, Giuliani, Herman Cain, My Pillow asshole, etc., they all thought they were special. They thought they were in the "in" crowd. It's a fragile position no matter who you are, because you're "in" only until they don't have a use for you.

Bezos, Zuck, Miller, they'll all find out eventually that they aren't special too.

  • Louis Anthony “Tony” Cox Jr, a Denver-based risk analyst and former Trump adviser who once reportedly claimed there is no proof that cleaning air saves lives, is developing an AI application to scan academic research for what he sees as the false conflation of correlation with causation.

Cox has described the project as an attempt to weed “propaganda” out of epidemiological research and perform “critical thinking at scale” in emails to industry researchers, which were obtained via Freedom of Information Act requests by the Energy and Policy Institute, a non-profit advocacy group, and exclusively reviewed by the Guardian.

  • I don't think the media understands how pissed everyone is. Red, blue, and in between, most are pissed. Especially in cities where everyone isn't scared by a person with a different background.

  • See, this is where the arguments come in. The holy book for all is pretty vague, and they kind of go with the times of the period one reads it and what religion (or non) you are. Jesus was Jewish and Christianity didn't start until much later. Every single disciple and follower that Jesus knew, called themselves a Jew until they died. There was a lot of overlap.

  • I'll never understand the anti-other, Abrahamic religion people. They all worship the same god with the Christian having a bonus of Jesus add-on. "No, our version of Judaism is better!"

  • Ackman said he was “gravely concerned” because he believed the left-wing candidate’s policies would be disastrous, triggering an exodus of the wealthy that would endanger New York’s public services by hollowing out its tax base.

wtf? Is this really the route they're going to take? I know, pay your fucking share of taxes and then there wouldn't be a "hollowing out."

  • That had to be made by Elon because he's the only one that looks decent in that video. Hilarious that trump shared it. Incredibly insane that it was made at all, it's about as evil as evil can get.
