I'm also heavy into the transgender world. So is Trump actually. It's this world. I usually just call it "the world" though.

Great and terrible example of the power that the right wing media bubble has on people and the damage it can cause. This isn't a political issue or a matter of opinion. This is objective and scientific, with extensive real world evidence of vaccines eradicating contagious diseases.

Vaccines are perhaps the single greatest public health breakthrough next to basic sanitation. People have been convinced of an objective, scientific falsehood that puts their own children and the public at large at risk of disease and death. This is brainwashing, full stop.

Antivaxxers existed before COVID, but they were the fringe. It's now a mainstream Republican belief manufactured out of thin air because COVID was bad for Trump politically and any improvement in the pandemic post-election was good for Biden. The stark partisan split proves it.

They definitely deserve this. Still, I hope their fab business works out because we need another high end fab (especially a US based one). It's exorbitantly expensive, too much for anyone but an established player to enter the market.

What else about P9 is underwhelming? Genuinely curious, not trying to start an argument. I'll be upgrading from a pixel 6, so maybe that's why it all sounds fine to me. Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner was my biggest request and it sounds like that's in.

I went through an scientology phase (academic interest, not a follower) and have seen a ton of documentaries on the topic. This one is by far the best, and really just a well made documentary in general.

Wild Wild Country

A bit overlong (typical for Netflix), but it has that irresistible "Surely this won't get any crazier" thing going for it. It's also a bit unique among cult documentaries in that the cult leader (technically second in command I think, but the de facto leader for a time) is interviewed and is remarkably candid about everything.

It's not mentioned in the article, but the fake voice in the video also says "Another trick I have is to try and sound black." It's really bad.

It's worse than I thought from the article. Outrageously and overtly racist.

Why the hell is this man who does not hold public office and is not an official representative of the United States meeting with world leaders at all?

I've read this article twice and nowhere does he say the words "America is ready for a gay vice president." He says being gay has not been the detriment to his political career people assumed it would be. He's not going around telling reporters he thinks he should be VP. In the one quote that he is asked directly whether he would do it, he dodged the question.
