  • Was that guy the owner of the wow armory? Because otherwise... how did they get your cookie store inside your browser?

  • at some point, noone will fucking care because everyone has their skeletons not in their closet but hanging from the balcony… which isn’t a bad state

No, it's not a bad state, if that would be true for everyone. In reality, only poor and average people will have a graveyard balcony. The rich people will still hold their secrets.

Or... everyone, rich and poor, don't hide their skeletons anymore, because people just... don't care anymore. We are over-flooded by information. Doesn't matter if it's useful or not. Actually I'm impressed how Israel's actions were decisive in stopping the Ukraine-Russia war. I have not heard any news about that war on the media for a week, so the war it's over, Russia went home, right?

If Nixon was the President today, he wouldn't even think of resigning.

  • hey OP, you're so young you don't even know the difference between white pages and yellow pages!

  • I can enter any shop, any shop, buy a beer, go sit on a bench, and just drink it.

  • Man, it's freedom of speech. I can ask the same questions before cutting out and blocking some of the most polarized communities on Lemmy.

  • Endeavour

    Oh, nice choice!

  • I'm impressed by how they were able to make a worse ribbon interface than Microsoft itself.

  • I did the mistake of watching the anime before watching the live action movie, and hated it.

  • "highly configurable" and "very little effort to start using" don't blend together in car mechanics, and they don't in Linux either.

I was going to suggest Gentoo or Arch because they're the standard for "highly configurable" but they really demand some effort to start using them.

Also, so far, only Debian really, really, cares about open source, most distros don't mind copyrighted video codecs or proprietary GPU drivers if they make the user's life easier.

  • I'm sorry but I cannot read your post. I clicked on it, it would spin a bit and… nothing.

  • It is a decent place to live for the rich oligarch

Dude, are we still talking about Russia or we switched to America?

  • That's bold since most European countries intelligence confirmed USA interfered in all their elections during and after the Cold war.

  • I bought a couple of new HP laserjets M110, those are tiny laser printers and usually just do their job so I'm ok with HP.

But those M110... those are pain. After installing them with USB and printing fine for the first day, the second day they stopped working, at all. They still gladly take any print job fine, they communicate with Windows. But they do not print anything... until you connect them to the Wi-Fi and create an HP account so they can push to you their brand new monthly ink plan.

Never got rid of a printer so quickly.

  • Systemd likes to ruin all the easy stuff with overcomplicated bloated programms.

  • Not Switzerland's choice, baby.
