  • Ah, so when confronted with evidence of being a single issue voter, you now claim that Israel/Palestine is not a single issue.

No, buddy, you've conveyed that you're fine with ignoring all of the administrations other actions and policies, choosing to zero in on this. That's being a single issue voter.

At least the conservatives are honest with themselves. Though I guess some can mentally delude themselves into thinking "I don't think preventing the genocide of the unborn is a single issue.". You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. I'm likely not not going to convince an account with 6000+ comments on the same issue to change your mind, and you clearly have much more free time than me, so I'm just going to stop here.

    Have a good day!

  • I wasn't comparing the two issues. I was comparing your single issue voter approaches, which are the same.

Do you not see the similarities in how you argue for your "one true cause" justifying being a single issue voter?

Also, do you have a reason to call me blue maga besides pointing out that being a single issue voter means you have like-minded brethren across the aisle, or is it just because I disagree with you?

  • Some people find it a little hard to ignore Genocide murdering babies. Good to see the average Democrat has no issue with it and willingly admits it.

The same logic and reasoning as conservative single issue anti-choice voters, it's good that America is healing its divides.

  • Something else to consider - from my experience the majority of christians don't make it their entire identity. After all, do not pray for others to see, etc. etc.

People you know to just be regular peeps who are pro choice have a decent chance of being christian, just the shut up and love thy neighbor type, as opposed to the "LOOK AT ME, IM SO CHRISTIAN" type.

So there are two axis in which people can be overlooked and quiet - one for religious affiliation, one for their stance on abortion.

  • You misunderstand, there's no ambiguity on my part, but instead understanding that there are those on the fence who may interpret it differently, and acknowledging that to know how best to respond.

For example, if it was brought up that what he really meant was that it'd be his second term, then the response would be "why wouldn't he want you to vote after his second term?"

  • And you don't think it's worth considering different interpretations of what trump says for them? What defaults them to automatically believing only the most damning interpretation? It seems like anyone who does so is probably a left leaning undecided, there are conservative undecided voters out there.

  • Eh, those in your circle of influence might make it so it doesn't matter to you, but I know folks who are on the fence especially after the felony charges.

You do you, convincing the folks you mentioned, and let others do their job.

  • The fact that you even wrote it at all implies they're a major group. Why bring up the insignificant minority?

Do you just never acknowledge minorities or something?....

Does any group being brought up need to be the majority? What mental gymnastics is this.
