I guess it could steal maybe some 90s cars with remote fobs, but I don't think it can do modern keyless entry cars in any useful way.

While the vehicles that make sense in those regions might be in the SUV segment, these city-SUVs we are mocking here would be a sub-par choice, imo.

I think the main issue is with web pages. Seems instead of optimizing them nowadays they are just bloated to the vague level they think one can get away with in terms of average hardware run by the users.

My personal reaction was also that no one here has AC as someone from the nordic.

If they actually paid their taxes instead of using loopholes it would amount to a lot more than 1%

Your first part about references was one of the things I disliked the most about Reddit where someone would make a pop culture reference and it would spiral into.a comment chain of just quotes with no originality, I'm glad that hasn't caught on in Lemmy.

My second least favourite thing, US defaultism, is alive and well on Lemmy unfortunately. On Reddit you would be told it's an American website and to deal with it, well this is the fediverse and I don't want to deal with it. Just say where you are from or what country news are about, it's not much to ask.

I guess Stormworks, but it can also be frustrating at times when I got tough nuts to crack in my grand designs. Still haven't found an engineering game of the same caliber.

This is how I even found out they were making the game, so pretty good news. Never got around to playing the other one they released, though.. Or finishing the first.

Every car segment has grown. Each size tier grew to the size of the next tier. Small cars are pretty much extinct and the cars that are marketed as small are the size of what used to be a medium car.

I hate the mentality of the people who spew that bullshit, but I also don't like the idea of thinking you are a planet saving warrior for driving a brand new SUV.

Nothing just works.

I run Linux, not because I think it's great, but because Windows is awful, and keeps getting worse. Furthermore it keeps abusing its majority market share to get away with increasingly scummy behaviour.

My Linux experience has been a lot more tinker free than Windows. There's a ton of distros to choose from for the uninvested, my 60 year old mum runs Linux at this point and the only difference is she stopped calling all the time for tech support.

It's really helpful to say what country you are in.

Why wouldn't they be drugs? The word drug in itself is not negative. Seems to me they are very obviously drugs.
