I know that this is serious, but it's so bad is good.
It has become the parody of a parody, this comic has so many layers of irony that transcends politics

Funny enough it was Windows.
Year of our Lord 2015, Microsoft was pushing for Windows 10, I was using 7 and wanted to keep doing so. One of the last updates completely broke my system, so I said "fuck it", backed up my files and installed Ubuntu.
From that moment on I gradually abandoned proprietary software at the point that today I live almost completely on FOSS.

I use Librera every day: the user interface looks a bit outdated but has support for any format known to man and a ton of features (and I mean A TON)

Probably hill zones: the land is easier to work than mountains, close to the plains (where there are natural water reserves) but still high enough to have lower temperatures

Already looking for a land that might be livable in 10/15 years

No 3.5mm jack.

That's a big question mark. Some people theorized Walter showed up at the mortuary and took the ashes of someone with no family, like a homeless person or something, claiming they were Donnie's.
It a stretch but also plausible, since Donnie's name isn't mentioned in the scene of the funeral house and no one else but Walter and The Dude showed up.

Among "The Big Lebowski" fans there are some that suggest that Donnie isn't real.
In the whole movie, Walter's is the only person that directly speaks to him. The Dude almost always ignores him or talks to him in a generic/patronizing way.
The theory says that Donnie was probably one of Walter's war buddies in Vietnam and died and what we see in the movie is just Walter's hallucination caused by PTSD. The Dude just plays along to not upset Walter.

First of all I was joking, as I know that selling your friends' personal data without thier consent is not only immoral but also ILLEGAL in all free countries. If you, for some reason, need this to be be clarified, I do not endorse giving away other people's personal data.
Second: when my father found two boxes of cigarettes in my bedroom when I was 13, he made me smoke all of them in one sitting. I never smoked again.

When writing jokes (or memes, same dynamics) with a dark subject, you should always try to hide its real meaning a little bit: if the subject is too clear and direct the joke loses a lot of power

The difference is minimal, in the newer version you have 1 less element when the sidebar is collapsed (the hamburger menu).
Generally speaking Gnome 44 is already well optimized, 45 is going to be a more "tweaks and small improvements" kind of update rather than a big design changes
