  • In all seriousness, keep up on car maintenance. It's cheaper in the long run that way. And if your CEL ever flashes, get that checked out ASAP. That means there is a much bigger problem such as a misfire or a fueling issue. Both of those could melt or clog your catalytic converters. Those things are big money.

  • Is there a chance you're deleting these programs and forgetting?

Wow that's interesting! How did you find that out?

  • I was so happy to hear someone was making a fork of Infinity for Lemmy!

  • My biggest issue is that at least two out of three times I go to browse/post/comment on lemmy.world, the server is down. I have no clue the actual up time, maybe I am just unlucky. But I am considering migrating my main account to another server.

My alt's server has never experienced this much issue. Hopefully the devs add a migrate function.

  • The new Puss In Boots. I went to see it mostly for my husband who likes Puss, but oh my goodness it was actually REALLY good. The animation was really interesting.

  • I've been chilling with Liftoff. Until Infinity for Lemmy gets to a more usable state, that is.

  • I've always just sent the docs to my phone over bluetooth and then printed from my Android phone. I rarely get printing to work on Linux.

  • I think mod tools are in the plan soon. I imagine that includes pinning.

  • I feel like this is asking Jerboa to break a standard.
Markdown is a universal standard, it's what makes webpages look like they do, minus the CSS.

  • I have a meager ds418play with 2x4tb drives set up with RAID. I forget what it's called, but it is one drive redundancy, 1:1. I run Plex and an FTP server on it for file storage.

  • Is that like one of those things where they mail you a "key" and say that if your key starts the car you can have it? How does that box work?

  • I'm fine with how active things are. The most popular community I run (!bluey@lemmy.world ~750 subscribers) is receiving at least a post per day, sometimes up to five.

If another "event" happens, I'm sure we will get busier, but things seem manageable for the two of us so far. I'm not opposed to more traffic, however.
