That's correct. uBlock Plus' Github says he won't accept donations but give instead to the unsung heroes maintaining the lists on which his software depends.

It's so sad these elections are no longer about what policies each candidate promises to apply if elected but about attacking the other candidate.

But the Democrats have to play by the current rules. Taking the moral high ground on the campaign trail was not going to get them elected. One can argue that the moral obligation is not to let Trump and his cronies win so that more reasonable policies can be put in place.

The challenge is that videos will have a varying amount or type of ads based on the client's country/demographic and simply on the timing of ad campaigns.

Not baking-in ads was the advantage of Youtube and other streaming platforms over the likes of traditional TV. That's why they were client-side in the first place. I wonder how much the extra effort, bandwidth, and processing will cost Youtube to achieve server-side ads. Would be funny if it simply ended up being too expensive for them.

The kinds of things they do and the places they go in thongs in South-East Asia. It's humbling.

Sandals and flip flops are very different things for walking.

It was certainly not on purpose, but it became a trap for the Reps. They played the Ad hominem card hard and it's blowing up on their face. And it doesn't help most of their attacks on Biden can now only be directed toward Trump.

But in French "W" is often abbreviated to "V". Like BMW --> Beh Ehm Veh (often shortened even further to "Beh Ehm").

So WWW would be "veh veh veh".

In any case "World Wide Web" is quite the mouthful for the average French speaker.

That was my point, these hand-picked examples didn't end up as hellholes. That said, it wasn't always smooth, lots of blood in SK's hand. I was playing devil's advocate.

In any case, the USA is not in the desperate situation these countries were in.
