I’ve found it useful for getting approaches to programming projects. Rarely does it completely solve my problems, but it keeps me headed in the right direction.

I’m also partway through making my first ARG and it’s super useful for generating ideas, especially when I feed it my established lore because it can keep ideas within that universe.

I’ve found overall, it’s best to use it to fill in the gaps on ideas I have in general. I theoretically could make all of the content myself from scratch, but I’m honestly terrible at all the little details in many cases. It allows me to not dwell on the little stuff.

Bunny ears are for rookies. All my homies use the Ian Knot.

Don’t forget about the hidden ProgramData directory at the root of the file system. Ableton Live likes to install there for some ungodly reason.

I’m curious how this was specifically related to UT2004. One of my favorites growing up.

Like, is it for people who don’t know about literally any other PC handheld?

Usually the home versions were scams, but there were better quality ones out there that would remove just a little bit of the top layer, making a smooth finish again. Although deep scratches obviously couldn’t be repaired in this case.

I only use Sync for extensions, history and bookmarks. I use an alternative pw manager for the same reason.

I’ve found that unless you already know someone at a personal level, someone that thinks they don’t need help is unable to accept it. In their mind, needing help means they weren’t strong to begin with. It’s a show of humility to ask for help. Humility is often misinterpreted as weakness.

Lucid dreaming can have more to do with visualizing the possibilities. There’s a great quote from Waking Life that touches on exactly this:

Lucid dreaming lets you see how obtainable those dreams can be.

Another one in the US is The Getty in LA. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out and also has an appearance in a ton of media, including the final shootout in GTA V. It was really surreal getting to walk through the place having seen it so many times before.

Ubuntu 8.10. My XP install had gotten corrupted and I didn’t own a disc copy of Windows. One of the tech support ladies at my school gave me a copy. Once I discovered the desktop cube and GTK themes I was hooked.

Piggybacking off this, CNC machining has a lot in common if you don’t mind getting your hands just a bit dirty. It’s a lot less manual labor than you’d expect and you typically won’t ever have to deal with a customer.

GCODE is simple to pick up the basics if you have any familiarity with 3D coordinates and many colleges will offer a fast-track course for around $2-3k. Depending on the area, some shops will even cover this cost while you’re starting.

Fuck that. Any advert in a public space that gives you no choice whether you see it or not is yours. It’s yours to take, re-arrange and re-use. You can do whatever you like with it. Asking for permission is like asking to keep a rock someone just threw at your head.

You owe the companies nothing. Less than nothing, you especially don’t owe them any courtesy. They owe you. They have re-arranged the world to put themselves in front of you. They never asked for your permission, don’t even start asking for theirs.

It’s not enough to just block them on your own computer. Ads are literally everywhere and pretty much inescapable unless you’re a forest hermit living on the land.
