    • I know this is going to sound like copium, but I love having to fiddle with settings to get original Oblivion running on my 2019 X1 Carbon.

  • A lot of the appeal of Bethesda Games is the almost meditative process of getting your 200 GB of mods running without crashing immediately, so I don't even bat an eye at the claim that you like futzing with its settings.

  • There are real video games for phones now, and I'm pretty sure emulation is up to at least on the gamecube era. Slap a controller on it and a phone is pretty much just a hyper-powered gameboy advance.

  • Pyre is my all time favorite, it's the only game i've ever platinumed and still kept playing to see a few more permutations. But by terms of sheer hours put in? Rimworld.
