Windows Media Player wrecked its own dumb self. It was good right up to Windows 2000 and Windows ME (which is a whole other kettle of fish), and then it got bloated, unintuitive and it kept nagging you for random shit. VLC is a great app, don't get me wrong, the bar was not all that high is what I'm saying.
Agreed. I too like LibreOffice, but it still has a ways to go. I've shown it to a couple of people and they didn't like it at all. Specifically, they mentioned the cluttered interface and unresponsiveness in some applications like Calc when dealing with massive spreadsheets. And dealing with massive spreadsheets is like half their job.
Hell yes, I'm lazy. And proud of it. I went to school, I finished college, I tried to work hard and all I got in return was middling pay and more work. So of course I stopped working my ass off and started prioritizing my free time and well-being instead. In this day and age, laziness is a virtue.
It doesn't help that our local stores change their layout on a regular basis for whatever reason. My guess is to keep the customers in the store longer.
Okay, I think I understand now. Looking at the names for Africa, Americas, Europe and Oceania, the names David and Maria seem to consistently be in the top 20. I'm intentionally excluding Asia, because their names seem to be wildly different compared to everywhere else.
Then I guess I don't understand the question? Was it not what the most common name in the world is? I don't have many sources to go off of, but according to the site I posted, Mohammed is the most common male name in Africa, Asia and the most common in the world. If it's the most common name in the world, it would make sense that it also happens to be the most common in the muslim community and possibly other communities as well.
Okay fine, real answer. According to this, the most common female name in the world is Maria and the most common male name is Mohammed. You can also find a breakdown by continent and country, here.
Wow, this is wildly unacceptable. Why in the hell would a car company need the user's immigration status? Or genetic information? Or fucking sexual activity?! I hope somebody sues these asshole companies.
As a Switch owner, fuck this. This is reason enough for me to stop buying games on the Switch and go full piracy/emulation mode. I don't have any Denuvo games on my PC and I am not having any on my Switch.
The issue I had with that particular scene is not that she had force powers. She comes from a force-sensitive family, so her having latent force powers makes sense. Key word here being "latent".
What absolutely did NOT make any fucking sense is A: Leia not dying of asphyxiation when she enters the vacuum of space and B: Leia just happening to know how to use force pull without any prior training. Like, they don't even try to hand-wave it off by saying something like "Oh, she spent some time training with Luke when you weren't looking" or something.
Because these delusions are based on defects of the mind, there’s no amount of facts that you can throw at this problem and expect it to be fixed that way. What wasn’t reasoned in, can’t be reasoned out of a broken mind like that.
This hurts to read, but I have to agree. Especially because the person who first told me about HAARP has a freaking degree in psychology.
Oof. Shots fired. Good. Unity could use a couple more salvos.
