I haven't been a mod, but I volunteered for Transcribers of Reddit. For me, it was about having something to do that's not entirely a waste of time. So I'd call that egoistic altruism.
Several subs that I frequented are gone. The biggest pain to me is probably caused by the loss of Transcribers for Reddit. The group behind it basically disbanded at the end of june.
Im not deep into the tech behind lemmy, so forgive me my simple question.
What counts as an activr user? Someone who posts, comments or votes? What about lurkers?
Yet another vote for Bitwarden.
I love that you can access your stuff through a browser without installing anything, I need that sometimes on my work pc where I cannot install anything.
If you got an award, you could get free premium for a month. Of course, that's a no go if Reddit wants you to pay them money.
