The loan that were taken were a choice. It's all in black and white what the loan consists of. If you choose to take one, it's your responsibility alone to repay. If your degree is in underwater basket weaving ..still your responsibility.
It is statistically proven that educated people earn more than uneducated. Because of this, as their income grows, they can afford to pay back the loans they choose to take.
If someone opted to take out a loan they can't pay back that is their poor judgement, and not the responsibility of society to care for them. They literally signed a document of their own free will. It's the same for everyone, educated and uneducated alike.
They will earn more because of their college education , hence moving forward economically and should be able to pay for the loans they readily accepted. I think we should bail out those that actually need it, not those that not only willingly put themselves in that situation and now, for whatever reason feel as though they don't have to accept financial responsibility.
I'll assume based on your rhetoric you are one of the ones that owe.
It's time to restart payment. I know many people that willingly took loans are hoping for a government bail out...even though college educated people, statistically make much more in their careers than those who weren't. Such a bail out is essentially yet another way to bail out the rich.
It's a sad story. But I don't think money from the Treasury should pay someone's bills for up to a year. Our government handles money like an impulsive 6 year old.
Sure I did...then expanded on what they are doing, joking that they have the right to limit their customer base, and the $ it brings if they choose to. Doesn't sound like good business to me, but hey, their choice.
I mean Obama pardoned someone that literally committed treason to earn points with the LGBTQ community. Politics and politicians, on both sides of the isle, are out for themselves .
I'm not sure about all that...Big business making sweat shops and the American government demanding equal trade aren't the same at all. If whatever country chooses to not regulate their factories and work practices that, again, is not the fault of the US government. Fair trade in a global market should be the only standard or trade.
Can both the right and left agree to start electing people in their 40s or 50s for a change?
