Like 90% of motorcycle collisions are the driver running into something. Not being hit, not mechanical problems, not external forces.
If you only ride when you know you're good, you're as safe as a car.
If you only have a bike bikes are dangerous. If you default to a car and ride a bike recreationally, or for chores where you aren't in a rush, you'll be fine.
What I've done recently is grab one of the bluetooth FM transmitters for cars, that let you connect your phone and it broadcasts that onto a FM radio station.
They actually reach a lot farther than you think. Now any FM radio in your house will be perfectly in sync, and as many as you want. This has a limit depending on how thick your walls are but they're cheap as hell and work well.
Just move to the south. I dropped some stuff at the dump and the dumpmaster was talking at me about how 9/11 was actually holograms and his uncles friend worked for Linden Johnson, so he knows all about the secret alien projects and that we went to war in the middle east to locate a stolen rage/zombie virus that Russia developed and lost.
Moving somewhere with solid reliable internet to somewhere without even cell reception.
Back where I left I could download gta5 in probably 20 minutes. Now it took 20 minutes to download a calculator app.
30% of the time my texts don't go through without telling me they didn't go through, so I just drive to peoples homes and talk in person or go to Walmart to make calls
I'm fucking dieing. The only saving grace is I have a friend 2ish miles away with starlink. I set up an old phone to download files to a certain folder, then when it's on LAN at my house to back up that folder over my local network to my desktop.
That's quite an overreaction. Kinda weird
