Largely because it's very obviously being used as a political propaganda tool, and any criticism at all is being treated as a horrific crime. Often by the same people who are viciously aggressive in their criticisms of otherwise quite ordinary segments of society.

Such a crock of shit every time these idiots try to solve the problems with bandaids while refusing to ignore the harm done by facilitating always-on open connections with every hostile foreign actor in the world. Borders and militaries used to exist for a reason: Because previous generations were aware that not everyone in the world wanted to be nice to each other.

When companies treat you as a criminal even when you do try to do everything their way, it really becomes hard to care.

The way many companies act, you'd think they believe that you have to be a sucker to buy/use their own products.

That might actually be the most suspicious possible scenario you could have come up with.

I don't think people would take it as anything else, regardless of what the media might say. Which is why I'm saying that some of you idiots need to appreciate the gravity of the situation.
