  • I think the most common thing I see online and offline is constantly adding more sources to the discussion to the point that the other person feels they can’t know anything. My grandmother does this with her nonsense and pseudo-intellectual books. Just because I haven’t read “why inner city black people have guns 3” doesn’t mean I can’t not be a racist.

  • Meh this a weak take, plenty of states have been racist and imperialist. Connecting every individual to the states violence is lame.

Edit:blocking this person. Asking about my culture doesn’t make me a nazi.

  • Mine is Bourbon, (desire for) freedom, individuality, self reliance, tomato sandwiches, Christianity, thank you notes, the beach, Appalachian mountains, family holidays, fried green tomatoes, seeking a better life for your family, and nice wooden furniture.

  • I would backup everything you need from your current laptop including game save files then just install Linux.

As everyone will say everywhere, if you play a game with anti cheat it won’t work so then you shouldn’t change it. You can search this on protondb.

I love Linux gaming but some lack of certain games really bums me out.

  • You raise a really good point. Makes me think of Plato’s philosopher kings trained since birth and separated from society. Seeing how most politicians are horrible even pre MAGA really makes this seem like a legitimate choice. Also have considered this when most of the population makes their political choices based on nothing but what they consume, ie bozos

  • I read an interesting line on this yesterday on 13th century Mongolians would be confused encountering European christians whose primary identity was their religion. They would feel that they’re Mongolian first. I say this is interesting as their concept of Mongolian was most likely different than that off today, at least from my recent readings. I would assume it would be based on their smaller plains ethnic group but with the growing Mongolian empire it would be part of a larger plains way of life. Just think this may be an example of someone having a different understanding of ethnicity and what is primarily important.

If the European Christians of that time found their Christianity most important what’s stopping you from finding your online community and culture most important.
