  • ...and "lemmings" which some users like to call lemmy users but I don't agree with that either and "lemmy users" sounds like a better term to use

This is just how communities work: people will find names for things and other people are reproducing them if they like the term.

  • When I saw this, I just instantly asked myself how many calories a rich would have and I want to share my research results with you:

An average person contains 125,000 kcal, making it 20% more for rich people (just because they're mostly male and greedy af), we'll be ending up at 150,000 kcal. Today, there are around 60m millionaires or a calorie pool of 9 trillion kcal. A human needs in average 2250 kcal a day, so we'd have 4 billion daily doses or one big feasting party for the entire world population. BYOB

I have a samsung tv which doesn't seem to properly allow stremio. Is there a possibility to run it over some sort of micro computer, preferably a raspberry pi? What are the requisitions? And in addition, could you recommend me an OS that maximizes user experience for streamio?

  • Our economic system is depending on everlasting growth. It is obvious, that it's natural boundaries have long been overcome. What remains is selling people and also nations wishes, desires and hopes. Elon Musk's, Jeff Bezos' and also China's Spacegames are really nothing but castles in the sky with a pinch of military sabre rattling.
