A singer 29k53 treadle sewing machine from the 1930s. Nearly identical to this one:
It was originally made for sewing leather shoes and boots -- hence the boot shaped tray. I use it for heavy duty sewing and leather working.
I considered adding a motor, but the hand wheel and treadle give a massive amount of control. On repairs I can usually put each stitch through the existing holes in the material without the machine getting away from me.
I've raised Cornish crosses and fed them normal, quality feed without any hormones: they ended up looking just like the chicken on the right at about 8 weeks old.
They've been selectively bred over the decades to grow as fast as possible, as big as possible, docile, and stupid.
Because those people don't have a basic understanding of how the 3 branches of government actually work.
If I'm elected to congress I'll work towards passing a law mandating all licensed broadcasters run 24 hour marathons of School House Rock and other "USA civics edutainment for children" shows on a set date every year.
Next you're going to tell me that that not only does humanity already have trains that can do 200mph (320 km/h): but they're more reliable, safer, cheaper to build/operate, and can can carry a ton of people per trip.
I mean ... he does. He's not as bad as he's made out to be on most domestic issues, keeping in mind the limited power of the presidency and the fact congress holds the majority of the power. But he's too fucking old. He's made mistakes, and handling Israel with kid gloves is a problem.

I had to intubate patients as part of my clinical time for paramedic, which meant time in the OR. Some surgeons would let us hang out and watch the surgery. Orthopedic surgery sounded like a cross between a construction site and an automotive shop. Die grinders, saws, and power drills.
Also, apparently knee replacement involves one guy doing MMA submission moves on the patient's leg while another goes at their exposed, hyper-flexed knee joint with a hammer and chisel.
The Dems have run relative leftists in the past: Bernie Sanders was on the primary ballot in 2020 ... and lost.
If you want to blame anyone: look at our fellow "voters". Asking my under-30 coworkers if they voted in the primary and/or the general election was depressing as fuck.
And "Christian" isn't a homogeneous group -- it's also something anyone can claim membership of. By itself the label doesn't tell you if someone is a good person or an asshole.
Apart from "this person believes Jesus Christ was real" it doesn't tell you anything.
