Yeah I won’t say windows is better, I know Linux is superior. But windows is a mess with a reason, it works everywhere . But It can’t handle heavy operations , it’s bloated af … etc ir sucks for enterprise solutions. But for a personal computer or server simple apps, people don’t want to wait or struggle .
This is mostly what we tend to think, but even if it sounds strange, consumption is not always driven by the people, the companies force the people to consume and population adopts it. It happened with several cases for example in food industry. The current producers, the people who have the money, investors, don’t give a single f of what cinema represents. And also lobbism . The history behind it, the powerful values of it, how strong it communicates culture… and all the brilliant stories that came from it.
What else would be then? Whatever happens is part of the universe development. We are the universe being conscious of itself. We think we are something else apart, or self made…
iPhone X user here, very happy. I’m considering replacing it this year, but I can continue using it with no problem. Can’t play games smoothly tho. It would melt . But phones should last longer and have part replacements , the industry needs to change.
“Culture” , at this point and a long time ago is not about a culture, it’s just what it makes money … ironically is ruining the industry and less people want to watch Hollywood
Hmmm it’s not supposed to be social interaction ?. I mean if you leave a human baby without social interactions, the brain will not develop and stay as close as the most primal animals( if not dies, which most likely, from loneliness ). A developed dolphin would be like a alien from the future compared.
Tailscale + Mullvad They support just a few countries (ignored poor ones), you have to provide your billing address, credit card, full name … and they don’t look very motivated to support more countries. I don’t like the model of these guys.
Pay for search? There should be another approach… at this rate will be paying for every single thing we do on internet and navigating properly would require a bunch of money .
