    I recommend Tuta over Proton. They're much more focused on their core product (not making their own crypto wallet or VPN or storage service or password manager), plus Tuta's leadership has never endorsed US Republicans, unlike Proton's

  • DVDs didn't exist during most of my childhood. Xbox was our first DVD player.

    VHS would have been All Dogs Go To Heaven (Charlie was my first crush and I'd still let him wreck me) or Disney's Robin Hood (he can also wreck me)

    DVD was probably The Matrix (mentally wrecked me, slightly)

  • Get a Steam Deck OLED. Just do it. It is currently and will remain for a very long time a very capable device.

    I actually kinda HOPE they don't release a new generation for a good long while, so devs have some pressure to target it for new games, which also means that those new games will remain playable on other older hardware as well.

  • I vehemently hate when any website hijacks my web browser's ctrl+f or forward slash keyboard shortcuts for searching the page.

    It's completely insane to me that javascript can override web browsers' builtin keyboard shortcuts.
