If you do nothing but click the link and then close the resulting website without clicking anything else, all that will happen is that they'll know you're someone who clicks such links and you're likely to get more of them.

To be fair the C in BRICS is China and I don't think Trump will actually impose a 100 percent tariff on China since that would crash the economy to the extent that rich people will lose money. So he's definitely bluffing there. His base won't judge him on that basis though.

People are really not ready for the media landscape conversation because it has absolutely no easy answers. The first amendment means that well-funded misinformation systems have an absolute right to keep operating.
