For anyone who doesn't already know the good FOSS alternatives:

• Local: Libreoffice
• Cloud/self-hosted: Nextcloud Office

It is available on Android. It's not in the Play store, when you sign up, they send you a link do download the apk

I signed up a couple months ago without issue...not sure if there's a backlog since then.

Kroger and Albertsons both do this constantly...I check my receipts every time before I leave the store...about once a month I catch something that was supposed to be on sale...but wasn't.

SOLVED! I had to learn how Cloudflare tunnels work, but 45 minutes later and it's doing exactly what I need, thank you so much, kind internet hero!

Note: The ISP is Comcast, who at various points on the web has claimed to block and NOT block :80, but lots of other people online seem to have the same problem, indicating that they do. At least for some people.

What the heck. Half a billion in microtransactions for a game that (according to this article) sounds like a real turd of a user experience. I loved GTA 3 and Vice City back in the day...I got GTA 4 in a Humble Bundle, haven't spent much time with it yet. Anyone know if it's a decent experience for a solo, offline, lootbox-free experience?

As an old person who only kinda knew that lootboxes exist, this series was a huge eye opener to the insane amount of money and industry that has emerged around them. 10/10 would recommend to my fellow olds.

Now to head back to Bioshock where the only cost to looting boxes is that I might get attacked by a splicer.

Yeah. When Shane Smith started making his MAGA apologia videos, I was out. Vice started terrible, got good somehow, slid backward, and then dove suddenly into the trash.

Being mad about this instead of Dave Coulier "dating" Alanis Morisette when he was in his 30s and she was 17 is like being mad at Obama about wearing a tan suit and not all the drone bombings or mass-deportations.
