  • wow this is my first time trying sync and just seeing how you linked a setting in the comment is awesome!

I'm going to buy ultra if the Dev ever implements a google free way
(trying to degoogle and have already deleted my google account)

  • after using the m1 air, I'm sold on arm
it doesn't have fans so no complaints of noise (my old laptop gave me ptsd of fan noise and I've also heard framework 12th having fan noise as it has a single fan coupled with a p-series processor)

I'd love to see amd/intel make an arm chip as microsoft also seems to pick-up the windows on arm thing

  • I use KISS launcher

    its named on a philosophy

    keep it short and simple

it is a small launcher under 1MB launcher while others are about 20-50 MB so it keeps the code simple

another thing it has is that it is focused around using keyboard to search for apps and using history to launch activities, if you call someone or open and application, you get that activity first at the bottom (one hand reachability) and then other activities with chronological order going above (away from your thumbs) you can change the mode from this to frequently used apps, recently frequently and others

  • oneplus has its own sort of problems
I've heard ram management sucks on oneplus 11 with 12 GB ram because they keep killing apps in background to preserve battery(even after using the phone for weeks so it should've adapted)

you should give grapheneos on pixel a try I'm using it on pixel 7 and all the apps that I use work(mostly, only bank apps have problems, check this user contributed list for verified bank apps https://privsec.dev/posts/android/banking-applications-compatibility-with-grapheneos/

  • I'd like to interject for a moment and say,

this isn't a test for what users like, this is a test for how users are addicted to the platform

algorithm provides content in a way that they become a consoomer and more often than not, we actually feel guilty and sad after an hour of scrolling and realising we wasted so much time (like post masturbation sadness)
