so... all those people who argued that trump getting indicted because is no big deal because an indictment is not a conviction, and it's all poltical... they feel the same way about this, right?

yessss. do it. pleeeeease peel off some republican senate seats

password rotation is generally not considered a "best practice" but not doing something because it's not a best practice is only a good strategy if you're actually going to follow the best practices. password rotation is less effective than a good password manager and long randomly generated passwords that are unique to each site. requiring passwords be rotated can be an impediment to using strong unique passwords, which is why it's not a good practice.

but a freshly rotated "MyNewPassword15" is a million times better than your password being "password", or being the same thing you use on every sketchy website whose database has been breached a dozen times.

it seemed like a really weird decision for OpenAI to have an AI classifier in the first place. their whole business is to generate output that's good enough that it can't be distinguished from what a human might produce, and then they went and made a tool to try and point out where they failed.

it sucks more everywhere else

the idea that journalism can save america if only they inform enough people is a perspective only held by journalists. america knows what's going on. they don't need to be told. and they're okay with it. only 1/3 of the electorate voted against trump in 2016, and approximately 1/3 voted against him in 2020, and it looks like about the same 1/3 will vote against him in 2024. and we've all seen what he's been doing.

it's not some secret that Trump is an authoritarian and republicans would rather cheat and win than lose a fair election. that's terrifying and horrible, but it's not news. everybody knows. and telling them isn't going to change anything.

If there is a lane open, and the ambulance waits behind a parked car for 90 seconds instead of going around in the open lane, is that really the parked car’s fault?
