  • I'm know that. I'm not arguing that detailed is better. It's the post that is arguing that, with it's implied "I can't believe that thing got the first place".

My point is that better is better no matter how it's made. It could be pretty or ugly, made with paint or digital, AI or no AI

  • People: "omg why are you using AI to make a picture of a frog. Just grab a pen and paper and whatever you do will be better than what AI can generate" Also people: "lol. This pen and paper drawing is awful. I can't believe it won Against this high quality obviously better detailed drawing of a frog"

  • I think I'm hitting a bit of a language barrier. What i understand is that they told you not to callt hem Americans? I feel like I need context. I wouldn't want to be called American in public to avoid confusion. But not in that context

  • I'm from south america. That's why this thing bothers me

Edit because I now realized I should have said more: correct. No one here call themselves American but not because they deserve it but because it causes confusion. Instead we call you Yankees, because if you say american everyone gives you sideeye

  • This a better answer. I always replied "im going to set up a country and name it 'the country that is not the united states of america' so that I can be an american too"

  • The US love calling itself "America" . the argument I always (from non us people) hear is that "every country uses the last word of it's name". So if you change their name, remember to refer to it as " child" and the citizens as children
