I can't think of any way how I could proof the first job I had during school in the late 90's.
I was working in a restaurant kitchen, peeling potatoes and stuff. You don't take photos there or keep name tags or other keepsakes. It was a shitty job, you want to forget about it, as soon as you left the premises.
Kamala Harris' job is even longer ago. 40 years is a long time to keep paystubs or something. There were no camera phones back then, no digital footprint you could recreate. That she can't produce any proof, doesn't proof anything.
But wouldn't using her music for political campaigns go against the keeping out of politics?
I wouldn't be surprised if she not exactly speaking out against trump but speaking out about a political campaign using her music.
She probably has a contract. you can not just stop paying things because you don't like it anymore, you have to follow the terms of that contract. Otherwise every payment you skipp is a debt to the other party and hey can sue you for breaking the contract and for backpay of the payments you skipped.
In your example with netflix, the contract you enter into when signing up for their service specifically states, that you can leave it monthly and Netflix lets you do that by not paying anymore.
This is part of Netflix's concept as a service provider and doesn't mean its the same in other services.
That reminds me of the scientists who were in a "Moon Mission" Simulation in a remote area and completely cut from all society, going in before the pandemic and coming out of isolation in the hight of Corona and social distancing and stay at home orders.
I bet they wished it was a prank with ape costumes.
Normally they ask what kind of cookies you "allow", so you have to remove it if you don't want them to collect your data.
Most of the time there are 3 levels you can choose:
accept all. Which means they can use cookies and collect data as they want.
allow necessary and legitimate interest cookies, which means they collect some and often it means targeted advertising.
only necessary cookies. That's the minimum setting that only allows what it needs to run the page and gives you random advertising.
You normally have to tick the option you want them to do and remove the tick of what you don't want to allow. But it depends on the wording if they asking you to "ALLOW" or "DENY" the options.
Could it be, that the haters just became louder, pushing into the limelight more? Not actually more people, just more vocal and therefore more visible?
Why does it always have to be a competition. They are different and that's good. People and their tastes are different too.
None has to be superior, superiority suppresses the rest.
Diversity is what makes life interesting. Uniformity and the following monotony kills all art.
You don't have to like the same books than I do, the same art, the same stories. But that doesn't make you opinion or mine superior or better.
What a cutie she was.
I'm sorry.
