  • I know what I do.

I go to ChatGPT, type my problem and copy the solution to my codebase.

If it doesn't work, I search my issue over Stackoverflow or DDG, and copy from there.

And once the code fails in production, which is always, I repeat the process again to find the new solution which will then fail in next iteration.

So don't you ever tell me I don't know what I do. I may not know what code I'm writing or for what, but I very well know what I'm doing.

  • These are primarily the data stored by your health apps and sos information.

If you've Android health info stored for emergency cases, some apps with right permission can access it. You know to save your life.

Likewise, your health record on your health apps like Google/Apple/Samsung health store a lot of information about you like steps, sleep trends, heart rate, diabetes, water intake, and even period regularity.

In normal cases these records should only be known to you or shared with apps you approve.

Threads has no business normally to request these data, but if they want go serve you relevant ads, these become quite useful information.

They can show you sanitary products when you're on period, or show ads for meds when you've high blood pressure. None of these should be monetised, but they can very well will be.

  • A wild guess, but could it be Microsoft?

I mean they are already creating use cases and integrating them in their apps, especially their business suite.

While Google and OpenAI are ahead in AI innovation, I feel Microsoft is getting ahead in implementation and actual end user scenarios.

Microsoft office offerings are still much larger than Google's, plus they capture Dev's needs with GitHub CoPilot and VS/ VSCode integrations.

I feel like by the time Google will be ready or OpenAI's contract with MS ends, both of these companies will lag sufficiently behind MS in real world.

  • You can get a lot of instant noodles.

Also, if there's Indian store nearby (there's almost a guarantee for that), then you can get a lot of instant Indian foods like Maggi, poha, upma, etc.

Bread with butter (plant based) and/ or jam is another option.

Fruit salad is another evergreen option.

  • I don't know if it's just ethical or their unwillingness to improve but they have left a lot of issues open for several years.

    Issues like -

    • Auto dark mode for web pages - they removed it when Chrome for Android dropped it, but never picked it back up. All other browsers have it now
    • Geolocation on Mac. Their argument is weird for this and the issue is still there for over 5 years
    • A lot of changes nobody asked, something like address bar auto complete, which they forcefully changed to top sites without even giving options
    • Slowdown because of bloat - while a lot cliam that it isn't the case, Vivaldi has brought my M1 Mac to its knees, even with brand new instace. Again only one to do so
