I really want an android tablet with lineageos support for watching movies and browsing the web. But I have been spoiled by my OLED TV so I think LCD just won't cut it. Also, I would ideally want a 120hz display so that movies can be played back without 3:2 pulldown. I don't believe such a device exists ATM?
Tencent owns a 40% share of epic. While that is really considerable, it does not mean they are "owned by China". Tim Sweeney is the majority shareholder.
It's an app whose source code you can access so it is open source and it only stores your data locally without communicating with any servers so it is private.
It's really sad how long my country (Germany) felt the need to belittle people when it comes to the media they consume. Fortunately, they've become a lot more lax in recent years.
Just so you see it, on android at least I can recommend drip which is open source and also keeps your data local. It's available on fdroid: https://f-droid.org/de/packages/com.drip/
For a little while I was like this. Turns out, this may work for cotton and synthetic fabrics, but don't do this for organic fabrics such as silk or wool.
I don't agree with this. People have different abilities/talents that mean that certain things are in fact easier for some than for others. By thinking that everything is just hard work, people may work themselves to death trying to achieve proficiency in an area that they just aren't particularly suited for.
At the gym the rowing machines were always my least hated cardio machine. The exercise bikes there don't do cycling any justice because you obviously don't get a sense of speed
Have you tried cycling for cardio? I used to be just like you but riding a bike fast is such an enjoyable experience to me that I forget I am doing cardio in the first place.
I was going to say the same thing. With cycling, you get an immediate reward for your spent effort because riding fast just feels really fun. So I find myself wanting to put as much energy in as possible.
How old are you? When I studied in Scotland 2016-2020, the preferred messaging app was messenger (i.e. facebook), and I'm curious whether that has changed in the last 3 years or whether it's a different demographic.
And it does judder free 24 fps playback on a 60hz screen?
Edit: also, what model is it? The Galaxy Tab S5e?
