Pet peeve, games that won't let you save

  • Yeah, it really can't be that hard to show a saving indicator..

  • Pretty sure the current limit is 20 characters. I hit that wall as well when I tried setting my wanted display name.

  • I never really managed to get into NV. I really should give it another try soon. I loved 1,2 and 3. Played 4 a bit but lost interest after a while.

    I think it's the whole western vibe that NV has going on that put me off.

    Might have to install it again and put some serious hours into it to see if I manage to get hooked.

  • Same, I wish everything didn't have to be a video. Sure, for some things videos makes sense but it feels like 75% of them would be better as an article with a few pictures (or code snippets depending on the contents).

  • That's such an awesome feature! I hate that it's so common for games not to let you save and quit whenever you want and only make you chase checkpoints.

    I just want to be able to hop in and out for quick sessions whenever..

  • Creating an issue isn't much harder than creating a post here. :)

    Actually using it for developing requires a bit more but it's not too hard to get used to.

  • I know that feeling.. I play a little bit at night when only us adults are up. It helps that my wife also games at times.

    Other than that.. I work from home so I might sneak in some gaming during lunch breaks and so on.

    Overall? Not a whole lot.

    If I get up to 2 hours a day I'm pretty happy. :P
