  • That's assuming they'll be left in peace after the illegal gestapo raid. Who's to say that said gestapo's not going to put them in a truck and send him to a concentration camp in El Salvador. People have no choice but to defend themselves as if ice is at your door they're going to kill you. Because that's the implication

  • I mean it wouldn't surprise me to learn that Sanders was a supporter. But I think it was probably just that Trump heard it on Fox and therefore is parroting it. That seems to be the pattern. His addled brain sees something and just repeats it.

  • It's kind of both. It's incorrect and correct the same time. I mean you can't really make an argument it's an elected position because you can't choose a vice president. There is literally no way I could have voted for Harris and Vance at the same time. I don't get to cast a ballot for the vice president. I literally don't vote for them. I vote for the total ticket. So if you're going by the strict definition of election it doesn't technically fit. Choice is necessary in the word elect.

Don't get me wrong I get your point. It's a moot argument really. But the more you think about it the more it kind of pisses me off. I literally don't get to choose the vice president. In a democracy.

  • Not just Catholics It's All American Christians. American Christianity is just moving extremely far away from its traditional roots, be that Catholic or Protestant or what have you. Of course I would argue the real Schism seems to be between Christians and Christ.
