  • Well, deep lore moment: he is engaged to my gf’s cat, though he has never met her

  • I played star field, wasn’t convinced on the prologued. Moved on on the first few quests c dropped it. It feels too bland, generic and uninspired

  • Fun fact: America is arguably better if you are rich or with a high income, Europe is better if you have a lower income / are poor

  • Well, to clean himself but now he does that and it’s rare he needs cleaning. He always cleans his paw before leaving the litter box on its walls so that’s not fixed.

Maybe to play on his own or chill if I dont want to play. If I work he somehow never bothers me, aside for the occasional “meow let’s play” moment here and there. But when I play games, or read, he just goes “hi motherfucker” and start meowing all the time and when he sees that meowing fails he decides that the best course of action is to jump on my television; it’s a 4k euro tv so you can imagine how funny it is, more so now that he scratched it a lot

So my choice goes to “stop fucking scratching my television”

  • Taught my gf’s cat to do that, my own doesn’t most of the time though which is very disappointing

  • Then I will be scolded for wasting time adding tests

  • Yeah, I love the genetic dynasty to the point point it’s my favourite part of the show. I don’t like the foundation that much though, it deviated too much from the books not always with the best result: while I see the logic of the S2 crisis, the ending was disappointing and imo didn’t make that much sense and was the worst option possible

I’m curious though how they will introduce the mule and what will it mean for the genetic dynasty and the foundation ngl

  • It rarely happened but usually it goes like this: something bad or undesirable happens; it could be a nightmare but that’s rare, and the only instance where i get “control” of my dream is when i know what’s going to happen and i can stop it. Anyhow, by failing to prevent the undesirable outcome I basically sort of become aware and return to the point where the undesirable outcome was almost happening, again and again until I either wake up or prevent it.

  • Yeah I don't think unit testing would be useful. I don't think though that integration tests etc are useless though, more so now that it is possible to test the UI states too. I didn't know playwright to be fair, I read it "automatically" generates tests? Maybe I did misunderstand

  • They know. We have had a production website being literally unusable, sucking up a lot of resources for a bug.

We have a client which is MAD cause the project is riddled with bugs, but the solution somehow is paying more attention. Except that it clearly isn't feasible to pay more attention when you have to check, recheck and check again the same thing over and over... They say it's a waste cause you can't catch UI, and you will spend the same amount of time NOT writing tests; obviously this is all crap, but they somehow think they are smarter than google or any other small or big company that do write test

  • It's pointless if they get mad at me for "wasting time" writing tests and nobody maintains or write them.

  • yes, I was. Also yes, it was a flagship gpu - the 6900 XT. KDE never worked for me, neither with the 1080ti nor the 6900xt… maybe it’s the AMD cpus, idk. Gnome has always been a stable experience though
