  • If they expanded their lineup to be based on the Leaf EV instead of just leaving it a lil econobox and focusing on their god aweful CVT they may have had been a great early EV competitor. Instead, ownership just kept sucking and sucking the company dry

  • Every big name store has something similar the issue is that its worse or the same as Amazon, never better.

Probably not aligned with the OP but id like a place that aggregates quality things from all over no cheap sketchy plastic things but also not just common big items that are already in every big box store.

  • Nothing in the article you linked states any sort recalls just companies stating that they take safety seriously. We all know that if a big corporation is saying something its definitely fact and theyd never lie.

  • My experience is purely anecdotal but for me it seems to make me more anxiety prone and more paranoid even when sober and thats been a lasting effect so far. Im still for legalization and I know it affects people differently. Sadly for me its mostly negative for now

Quick edit: if anyone knows more about this effect im really interested in finding out more. My doctor hasent really been that helpful

  • Ive done a shell swap on my steam deck and while Its worth it and it looks amazing it was a PROCESS because you have to unglue the screen and the touch pads (if you want to swap those too) you basically disassemble the entire device

  • I think the charge port on the mouse is still really silly but the button kinda makes sense to me. Its right there on the mainboard so its simple to manufacture and compact. Its a lot less likely to be accidentally pressed. These options are in trade off for it being a little bit harder to get to in the everyday. I also think apple expects a lot of these to be used as a HTPC and just never turn it off

  • Completely playing devils advocate here but by having it on the bottom isint it right there on the same plane of the main board therefore making it easier to manufacture by simply having smt components vs having manual wires routed elsewhere/long plastic stick power button running the entire height of the machine internally. Its may be lazy but could it also not be efficient?

Imo the way to resolve probably like 80% of the complaints for this would be just have the edge of the machine sit just high enough above whatever surface it is on by way of feet or a thicker base. Just enough be able to put a finger under there and press it. Not very unlike monitors and TVs have done for ages at this point

  • Whats the best replacement for Excel? LibreCalc is ok but it lags really far behind Excel in intermediate features. My close friend in analytics switched back to Excel recently because he got so tired of dealing with LibreCalc.

Also do you know if the Affinity suite works well in Wine? Ive messed with a lot of software paid and libre for its purposes but just vibe with Affinity best

Im not asking to sound rude im asking because im genuinely looking down the barrel of this OS change and I do a lot of computer based hobbies and work that are going to be uprooted by this

  • It can be. Lots of people do eat whats inside pumpkins that they carve. pies, curries, etc. I feel like in terms of waste is one of the much lesser wasteful things people are doing and it often makes good feed and compost
