I just set up a bunch of purelymail addresses on a couple domains I own. I bought into proton for 2 years just a couple months ago. So I'll transition away slowly.

Exactly, it's not like the president has all power (at least not yet, we'll see where it is in a couple years). Without supporting members of the other branches, a third party president is nearly useless. That said, I'd take a useless but well meaning president over Trump.

Trust me, we all get that both options weren't optimal, but we don't get an optimal option. We get 2 options, and one is usually better than the other. If we keep picking the better one, over time things improve.

People like you tend to protest by not voting at all, or voting third party (which is essentially the same under our current structure). If we had compulsory voting, I highly doubt Trump would have won.

Worth checking to see if the thing you are getting refunded for is sold directly from Amazon or if it's from a "store". Often times the "store" could just be some bloke trying to make some money using Amazon. If you get refunded for one of those, they take it from that store, not their own coffers.

There's plenty of good reasons. Have you seen his online behavior? Frequently follows and comments favorably on white supremacy groups and pages. Musk is a white supremacist. all the evidence is there. His family actively profited on, and participated in the apartheid in South Africa.

He's shown us who he is through his own actions, and through who he praises and supports.

And to be fair, I think he only did it twice, not thrice, so my bad there.

In other words, they (the US government) can't influence who does or doesn't see certain content, so they need it to sell to an "american" owner so that they can make sure they only see pro us propaganda.

Literally never seen any of that on TikTok. Just Americans doing their thing. In fact, you can actually look up content on TikTok that shows, describes and condemns the atrocities at tiananmen square, and their awful behavior towards Taiwan. And any number of things that shows the chinese government as a bad player. If they were in control, you'd think that sort of thing wouldn't even be available.
