  • Lemmios is great too. It has alert features where you can set up notifications whenever a new post is made in certain communities. It's very useful. Also it's the only app where inbox notifications consistently work for me.

  • Pebble watches were awesome! 1 week battery eink screens with app support. Too bad fitbit bought them and went nowhere. It shut down 5 years ago, but the hardware is still supported by third party alternatives. In fact I'm using it right now.

  • Yeah, I would just make it a habit to always leave the home with a trash bag and drop it on the way to wherever I'm heading. Using large trashbags makes you wait until the bag is full. Buy those small 13 gallon (or smaller) bags. I use all my grocery bags as mini trash bags hung on cupboard doors. Makes it easier.

  • I don't know if the 13 board is salvageable. It was in a purse when it was run over, and the button in the purse almost punched through the screen out the back. As for the 12 pro, I'm not looking to replace that. Just changing the case to hide the back. I'll check out about the back replacement. It might at least work for a trade in.

  • Went on a vacation and my wife's 13 got run over by a truck and my 12 pro back glass shattered by falling on concrete. Now I'm fully ready for new phones. Hopefully one of my kidneys is enough.

  • Could somebody help me out? I setup Tailscale on my media server box, trying to use it alongside Windscribe has basically bricked ssh on the box. With this news, am I to understand that Tailscale will not work with any vpn other than mullvad?

  • Yeah python does lack in such things. Half a decade ago, I setup an ml model for tableau using python, and things were fine until one day it just wouldn’t finish anymore. Turns out the model got bigger and python filled out the ram and the swap trying to load the whole model in memory.
