You're absolutely right. If you've seen all of Star Trek, repeatedly, there are so many Easter eggs and nods and references to pick up on. I love it!

So now he's starting to really undo Biden's progress.

So just to make sure I got it right. Gutting federal agencies from the inside out to the point of dysfunction, and firing employees and government watchdogs without cause. Depriving legal immigrants their due process and forcefully kidnap people in broad daylight. These things are A-Okay.

The leadership of the Democratic party chose to do nothing, thinking they can just let the pendulum swing back in the next election. Rather than actually do anything to help people, they're expecting us to just vote them in because of how insane the Republicans are, but once they're in, they won't actually do anything.

You're vastly underestimating the damage done in his first term. Everything he did then set the foundation for what he is now.

The only thing I have faith in is the incompetence of the people attempting to actually enact this coup.

It wasn't just 'for some reason' it was strategic. I wouldn't expect Trump to get it, but I'd hope a random person on the internet would have more sense than the President.

Providing vaccines to third world countries acted as a level of prevention by keeping these diseases from spreading to our country or our trading partners.

More pragmatically, providing this service allowed the US to push their influence on other countries too. Whether through providing aid, or threatening to withhold aid, this service acts as a tool for the US government to maintain their superiority on the world stage.

Also, from a more fucked up perspective, keeping a healthy population of third world people is crucial to the exploitative nature of capitalism and its nonstop growth.

There is no doubt in my mind that their phones are compromised.

Social media companies just doing the bidding of their owners.
