Yeah, if the chassis is not repaired properly (which means really specialised tools and a lot of work) after a crash, chances are the next crash will be a lot deadlier with that vehicle. It may look and drive fine, but I wouldn't want to chance one.

If these batteries are stable (ie only needs maintenance rarely) , is there a reason not to keep them in a closed, CO2 filled enclosure?

Could be but probably won't. In 30 years we will be wondering how no-one foresaw how much damage deep sea mining caused (and still won't act to stop it anyway).

It depends. I use k8s a lot, and annoyingly enough we still happen to use cronjobs and bash scripts to "automate" certain tasks. Maybe it's inertia, but bash is certainly easy to fall back to...

If they get hacked, your data is still there until a reboot, though. This is more useful against state authorities taking servers than hackers.

If your server room generates steam you may have a bit of overheating issue.

Hot water is possible, but you'd need crazy insulated pipes and/or close buildings to heat before the water cools down too much.

I just counted, it's 22... and there a lot of redundancy in there. So I'd say that FF on mobile had extensions technically. Want something as extreme as RES or some video downloader? You have with fiddle with nightly... which barely any average user would.
