  • That was the whole point of locking down everything and making it illegal to fix by yourself.

    It will bite them in the ass when next generation would have a lot less people who can work for these companies (it's already happening).

  • Find a group, for everything else you can just ask them what is it they expect from you. (Usually you are expected to be familiar with the rules)

    Games are conversations. Just imagine what would your character do in any given situation and try to match tone of your party and game. Depending on a system they can differ as to what DM does or tells you to do. Don't overthink it, it's just a game and try to have fun. 🙃

  • It didn't, it's extremely boring, everything is disney-ified to unbelievable level, and there is no conflict, at all. At worst someone can say something mildly hurtful (acceptable to children <10 years old) but at the end of the dialog everyone return to happiness, the villains are bad and evul, the heroes are good and heroic, there is no option to even be impolite, lol. Add to it "puzzles" that won't puzzle a kindergardener, and that's what veilguard is. I honestly don't get why they hate their players so much as to assume that they are regarded.
