  • Same, the only one I ever enjoyed was sonic adventure 1. Perfect dark is really amazing, but some of the level objectives on the hardest difficulty can be annoying because of escort mission type stuff where the person you need to keep alive keeps tanking enemy fire and then dying.

  • Perfect dark, ocarina of time.

I feel like I’ve played others but I can’t think of it off the top of my head. Star Fox has one, but the people who did Zelda, but last I checked it didn’t work on Linux yet.

I setup the sonic one, but haven’t played it yet.

  • I’m pretty anti-Apple, so my question is just to have a better understanding of what this means.

So does this mean, we will see a bunch of free apps that direct you to purchase a subscription or license on their website to unlock the app?

  • My sister puts her kids pics on there. I just downloaded the app so I can use the chat function to see the pics.

I denied the app access to my camera and it refuses to let me use it. I tried giving it permission and then taking it away, but it just gives a pop that won’t go away until you disable the camera.

  • I just 100% the game a few months ago. It actually holds up really well and it’s still really fun. There were a few annoying silver coin races, but it wasn’t too bad. Plus that stuff isn’t really necessary to enjoy the game.

  • Same, if my steamdeck can’t run it then I don’t play it. I love portable gaming so much because I can just be around the house or quickly suspend the game if something comes up.

Additionally it seems all the new games are pretty boring, maybe I’m just getting old, but I don’t care about graphics at all, just give me a fun game.

I’m actually playing the original oblivion right now and have no problems or complaints about the graphics, it’s just not important to me.

  • As far as I know, the new version didn't change a single thing other than graphics and maybe some bugs. Right now, I am doing an oblivion gate and I am just running through without fighting anyone. I actually just turned my steamdeck on and was in the last room. It was too easy and much better that way.

  • I finally started playing the original release on Steam since I don’t have a powerful computer.

It is fun, but it’s much smaller than I imagined. People always complain about the drauger ruins in Skyrim as being repetitive, but damn those oblivion gates are just the same thing again and again. Hardly any variety between them.

I’m pretty close to just dropping this game and starting up Skyrim again.

  • While Japan is in the process of accepting foreigners and learning how to adapt, foreigners should learn about limitations and be ready to not have all their needs met.

I moved to a different country when I was 30, and still live in that country. Not all of my needs and way of life are what they were, but I understand that this country doesn’t operate the same way as my home country and I can either deal with the limitations or go back to my home country.

  • In case it interest anyone. There is a mod for the classic version of the game called northerui that gives it controller support.

I have like 10-20 hours into it already and it’s worked great.

2 side notes, the game HAS to be installed in game mode and opened once before switching to desktop mode to install the mods.

Also there is another mod you need to install that helps with loading. I forget what it’s called, but it’s a really popular mod and has something to do with timestamps of files.
