  • Yeah, this indeed.

  • A word from a stranger leading me to his Wikipedia page. The second one is decisive. Wikipedia can make mistakes, but there are some heavy leads..

  • Well technically yes, it's a French way of thinking.

  • Just googling his name and... ewww.

Being no. American, I had no idea who this person was, sorry!

  • Damn. I had no idea who that person was. I thought it was just a classical meme template featuring some random dude. I saw this posted so often I never really thought that person may be a public one.

Thanks for the warning, I'll never post using this template again.

    And fk nazis.

  • From your link, I rabbitholed to there and found gold

  • This, my friend, is a 400ton edgelord take. One could talk about the underlying analysis but my, your tone is the first thing that strikes me. No one Hi will suffer under this administration would understand this. Fishing for purity-vs-sheeples won't help anyone.

    P. S. : In my book, the dems are awful, and I'm not even an US citizen, so I'm not directly concerned.

I just hope you're very young and will regret your wording one day.

  • Yeah. But you don't get this kind of arms doing taichi. Lots of other benefits, though.

  • Not only do I highly doubt the validity of your argument, which an overwhelming majority of scholars would disqualify based on its implicit assumptions (although not the idea that a hierarchy of societies exist at a given point of time), but I also strongly think it has no place on Lemmy. To see it hasn't been moderated yet is a surprise - an unwelcome one.

  • And I love this!

  • If I understood correctly, they're not silencing your anger. They're complying with the "no call for the murder of a specific person", and limited apology of murder, which is a common norm in Europe. You're very welcome to shout that CEO are parasites and we know what do to with parasites.

This, for example, does not violate the TOS, as far as I'm aware.

  • Man/Ma'am, I've seen dozens lately. Most were fun actually, but I side with the admins here. You can actually get prosecuted, and badly, in Europe, for this.

  • Look, I excuse this guy action, and I'll never shed 1/10th of a tear for the CEO And I'm rooting for smiling man to not get caught. But in Europe, we gave this prohibition about calls for hatred and murder. It's culturally strong. Notice that it didn't prevent us from guillotining a king or two. Anyway, give lemmy.world admins a break. There are laws they're meant to comply to and we're a vast fediverse. Better keep your anger for our actual enemies.

  • Damn bro/sis, that hurts. Take care of yourself through those dark times. Wishing you the best..

  • Look at my user name, brother/sister!

  • All these threads make me want to take the leap to Linux. My work laptop runs on Mint, but as for my home pc.. guess I'll still have to wait for more Proton development/compatibility. Last time I checked, part of the games I want to play soon (Remnant 2, Supervive, Legion TD 2, Morimens, Sengoku Dynasty, Ravenswatch and a few others) seem to require a little more experimentation than I'd like.

Don't get me wrong, as a modder of obscure Chinese games and at work, I'm all for experimenting. But for the 1h per day I can play, I'll wait until I'm quite sure I won't spend it tinkering around to get my current games to work.

But I sure hope it will be sooner than later!
