What should we do about Threads?

  • Yes, I totally agree with you.

    My fear is that some people is advocating for defederating the instances that doesn't defederate Meta. In my opinion that would be awful for the health of the Fediverse, as it'll be even more scattered.

  • I understand, but if they defederate the Fediverse will be what used to be, right? I'm pretty happy with how are Mastodon and Lemmy so far. I joined both during the Blackout and I don't mind less content but higher quality.

  • I tried it when i started using Linux, but it was confusing compared to the other IDEs I used. I want to learn it eventually, but for now I use nano for text editing in the terminal and VSC for coding.

    • Did Google ever say why it killed the bottom address bar in Chrome? (And what's your fave browser?)

  • I use Firefox Desktop and app, but I'd love to bee able to zoom images on google search without opening the link, as I can using the Chrome app.
