  • Surprised consultants are pushing the latest fad? No it's what businesses want to hear.

Concerned they're pushing the bubble? No more than the rest of it.

Worried a machine will be lying to me about timelines instead of a person? That's innovation for you I guess.

  • When we visited Europe a number of years ago I had to learn stick and we all practiced quite a bit because renting an automatic wasn't reasonable. It's actually pretty hard to find a manual to learn on and not all learner agencies even have one.

  • Well if the 11th is quick, Trump still appeals to SCOTUS and we've seen how they drag their feet for him. And even if they didn't, the case probably wouldn't get far.

If you're hoping for this to affect the election at this point, I think the only thing to hope for is some bad rulings that get sensationalized as an October surprise to remind people what it was like last time he was in office.

  • I mean sort of. But also I've seen people that disagree with everything Republicans and Republican candidates say, say with a straight face "at least I didn't vote for a Democrat" so it's also not that complicated at the same time.

  • Yeah that's a better description.

Also of note this is part of the evacuation system for hurricanes. All lanes are outbown in an evacuation.

But it also kinda hides some of the crappyness. it was supposed to be on top of a giant underground flood diversion system which is a huge problem for Houston as you may have heard. Also the center was supposed to be for a commuter rail but we couldn't get the bond passed so that might happen someday...

  • Maybe. I actually have a dehydrator I use with plenty of airflow.

But I think that only solves part of the problem because that makes it really good at drying the outside but it's still going to have trouble past the first couple layers. I think the fact moisture would also have a hard time penetrating means current options work well enough.for most people.

Anecdotally I can support this, recently I had a particularly old roll of petg that I dried for a larger print and later in the print started getting all stringy and messy.
