  • Ohh, marking replies as read is something I will implement. Never thought about that before.

  • I don't know, every time I read "might" or "may" in these science articles it doesn't carry that much weight.

  • Because neither are, or can be true as long as there is a single person of these professions with the heart somewhat in the right place. That doesn't mean there isn't alot to criticize, but hyperboles are not the right, nor effective way to do so. You'll never get a person to admit they were wrong by vastly over-exaggerating.

To be honest, as much as I hate that word, these acronyms are just cringe.

  • I may have gotten a little angry after reading all of the first comments on this post. So I'd like to apologize.

  • I was on .ml first after leaving reddit, because I didn't know this was the case, until I called out straight up state propaganda and defended capitalism with social and ethical policies once. You can imagine how they responded to that.

  • I realized .ml was fucking insane and delusional when they glorified Stalin and refused to recognize the atrocities he committed.

No matter what your political stance is, as soon as you deny negative facts and exclusively push the "positives" it becomes a problem and may radicalize you (if that isn't already the case).

What happened to nuanced moderate politics? It seems people unconditionally put the "left" or "right" label on themselves. And ironically these blind followers will have the audacity to call anyone close to the political center, or people who are honest with themselves, cowards.

  • I was going to say that unfortunately strong (often illegal or prescription only) stimulants are the only real answer to this, but as you mentioned, you've already tried your ADHD meds, which are either amphetamine or methylphenidate.

So there are only obvious things left, like cold showers and caffeine (400mg max/day), which can also be dangerous, because your heart is already stressed. I think naps (up to 3 hours) will only make things worse, because you are unlikely to be in REM and deep sleep for a significant time and heart strain will spike after waking up again.

Be careful and check your pulse and blood pressure, if you can. Pressing two fingers right below your wrist for pulse and feeling your heartbeat pounding in your neck indicates dangerous blood pressure if you can't accurately measure these.

And most importantly: As soon as you get dizzy, have chest pain, or in the worst case, feel tingling or numbness in your left arm and/or neck, you MUST stop, lay down in the recovery position and have someone check up on you or call an ambulance, as these symptoms can be early signs of a heart attack.

  • I'm sorry bro, no offense. At least in Germany it's somewhat a stereotype.

  • Oh shit, my bad. You might want to forward this info to Wikileaks and be careful.

  • This guy knows. I disagree about mainstream media suppressing information, though (at least in germany). I have often checked with countless reputable independent sources and this simply isn't the case.

  • It's probably just as accurate as his countless previous threats.

  • Russia didn't say this. The clown Medvedev did. I call bullshit.

Maybe read the fuckin' article before writing a comment.

Edit: Also, fuck newsweek for spreading panic and borderline false misleading information.

  • "You've met me at a strange time of my life"

Might not be exactly correct, but I can't believe no one has posted this one yet.

  • You can't. Eh, it could be a lot worse. The best you can do is just accept it.

  • This is a german thing, but "Camp David" shirts are the first thing that come to mind. There is a good possibility the person wearing it is the most dense and arrogant person you'll ever meet.

Könnt ihr doch sicher bestätigen Germanbros, oder?

  • I am convinced most people aren't religious, or at least agnostic. If they truly were they'd not be living like they are and wouldn't give a shit about anything but their holy book. I call it being alibi-religious.

  • I might be missing something, but they could just mass validate 100 IDs in person, without logging anything, then mix/shuffle 100 "person is an adult" codes (or even multiple per person) that aren't directly connected to anyone and hand these out at random.

This way neither the government, nor the website knows your real ID and your age can still be verified.

Edit: Sure you can still somewhat be tracked by these codes, but this may be mitigated by handing out new or multiple codes and having them expire.

  • You are claiming to not add extra meaning and then proceed to do it again, probably to derail the argument towards something that can be more easily attacked. Let's just agree to disagree, because this is going nowhere.

  • Where exactly do I say this? Why are you adding extra meaning to my words?

  • True, also I just realized that a google search might go wrong.
