  • Weird, I have all those now too. Composite deck a couple years ago, standing seam roof this year. Cast iron skillets for many years.

  • Unfortunately I had a very opposite experience even though I don't regret it at all. This was probably 20 years ago and I remember it was either Christmas Eve or maybe the day before and I was out shopping. There was an overpass with a fairly minor grade to it, but the car in front of me couldn't get traction in all the slush from the heavy show we had that was now melting. I jumped out and just started pushing this car up the hill and no one else seemed to care enough to help. I didn't even really get any kind oh acknowledgement that the driver appreciated the effort, but I'm sure they were more worried about keeping forward momentum. I don't even know how I got footing, but I was struggling for a random person and at least I felt good about my decision later.

  • Wow, was surprised to see there was a mention of MO: Astray. I got I as part of a Humble Choice bundle a few years ago and randomly gave it a go. Didn't look at anything about it, which is not my usual...... MO.

    ANYWAYS, I absolutely adore this game and highly recommend. Like he says, the game is very clever, never outstays its welcome, and it will surprise you regularly. It has a solid storyline and the way it tells it to you is unique, but I don't want to give that away.

    I'm always trying to find new Let's Plays of this game, it's just a satisfying romp.

  • Oh god I forgot those existed. They were always terrible, even for modem technology. I remember having to help my mom's friend with her Emachine with one of those and the drivers were a trainwreck.
